GM Ampera Hybrid

In the crisis that hit Central General Motors (GM), American manufacturing was formally introduced in the Opel Ampera bigger automotive exhibition Geneva Motor Show 2009. This hybrid car will start production in late 2011.
Opel Ampera will use lithium-ion batteries that can carry 16kwh this car as far as 60 km. While the maximum distance 500 km for one-time refill (charge) is full.

Opel exterior pull Ampera have similar body lines Volt. There are significant differences in the new grille and bumper design. Like the Volt, Ampera a four-door hatchback with five seats.
Mover car is a plug-in system that Voltec recently exhibited at the Concept of Converj Cadillac 2009 North American International Auto Show in Detroit. Voltec a further development of E-Flex hybrid is equipped with a compact-sized conventional engine and electric drive systems.

For short trips up to 40 miles, Ampera only use electricity stored in lithium-ion battery, which is recharged by electricity at 230 volts, the European standards. Whereas for longer distances, the car still driven electric motor, but deposits in the battery power is reduced, can now be supplied by a generator driven conventional machine. Ampera claimed suitable for use as an everyday vehicle for most European consumers.
